| | raced my 1954 Vic 292 Y block in a three day vintage class rally in the country outside of Chihuahua City ,Mx very challenging roads. high speed sections and lots of curves = long 10 hr days. we suffered penelties on Friday ( ran out of fuel ) and ahd to catch up Saturday kissed a gaurd rail ( lost power steering pump and had to catch uo again ) Sunday ran good ( still no power steering ) finished third in class overall check out photos and result times om www.chihuahuaexpress.com will be goin back next year Carson Scheller |

| | that '51 chrysler is goin to be tough to beat . he got a hemi 331 dual carbs we were real close in most speed sections best to run strong (90%) and steady and leave da rest to Lady Luck I think we'll see him in this years La Carrera Panamericana He won the Original PanAm class in '02 I won it last year giddy up |

| Yea , your right .. the limiting factor is the loose nut behind da wheel  Mummert says the 292 is more reliable for this hard endurance racin remember .. one has to finish to win ... actualy everyone who crosses the finish line IS a WIENNER ( as they say in Mexico ) check out www.lscheller.smugmug.com for some photos  |

| I would offer that anybody with the guts, and drive to ENTER the race is a winner. Let alone with a Y block ! I am in awe of this effort. Congrats on finishing.
