Ok guys here is what i have i,am a machine shop lost my pics of the engine when i took it apart. Any How i sent the cam out to get re-ground i need a pic with description of how the cam gear gets installed i looked at the one that was posted but what i need is the parts labeled. Parts i have cam gear spacer counter weight eccentric  bolt with washer.

When i put it together in this order retaining plate cam gear counter weight eccentric spacer washer with lock washer and bolt and tq. it up the cam locks up with no end play.

Thanks for the link so there should be 2 spacers 6265 and 6287 how thick is the one that go,s be hind the cam. 6265 i beleave i have 6287

also what should the end play be on the cam and what is the cam bolt Tq. to.

The rear most spacer should be .002-.004 thicker than the thrust plate.  It also needs a generous chamfer to clear the radius on the cam snout.  If it was still on the cam when it went to the grinder, that's where it probably got lost, or in transit.

John thank you i have established that i will give the cam .005 to .010 end play and will make the spacer since that is were it is at the cam grinder.

Made the spacer today .194 thick ended up with .006 end play on cam.

Spacer dimensions were .194 thick 1.350 OD. 1.015 ID.
