Darn - I forgot, 1954 - this is a Load-o-Matic distributor isn't it?

How are you feeding the two vacuum cans off the three carbs I saw in your photos?

Hi Pete & Steve,

No time to work on it tonight .  The part # on the box is 1282N6 & it also says 8 cyl 6 V neg ground. I bought this one because I just have 6 volts going to the points & Because the mounting of it has the straight base that my points had. I have another petronics from a latter model y-block 12 v that won't fit.  The engine is a 55 272 ford. When my points burnt out I couldnt find any that had a straight base.

This Saturday Mechanic is still stumped !      I only have the center carb hooked up and I have the vacuum hooked to that to the Advance on the Distributer.   Pete I will call petronics when I get a chance.  My next step is to put points back in it for now.   There is a 3 day car show in Lake George, Ny which is the next town from me.  Might just run My Galaxie.  Anyhow Thanks, Mike
