I had to do a little grinding on the driver side cover, toward the rear, below the bellcrank mounting boss. It's nothing major. The passenger side was fine.

RE: T-Bird valve covers with Blue Thunder intake

Hi Greg,

I have a BT intake on my 312, and even though I'm not going to use them, I did mount a set of T-Bird covers on it, and there was no problems. The external dimensions of the BT are the same as the stock '57 Y-Block 4 barrel intake.

T-Bird valve covers with Blue Thunder intake

Hey,

Just wanted to see if anyone out there has had a problem mounting T bird valve covers with the blue thunder intake installed?
