I have a set of chrome covers but they have a thunderbir or someother kind of logo on them. I can dig them out and see . I have had them a long time so I can let them go CHEEP if you are interested. e-mail eadgpdhome@msn.com

I bought a pair of the Ebay chrome covers for mine. I have yet to install them but they seemed to be pretty decent. Yes they are a little thinner but so are the old Moroso aluminum covers for windsors etc. and they held up well (unless over tightened). I'll post how they do after they have been on for a while.

I like what you did with those chrome covers! Gives me an idea for the Custom Cab scrip I have.
I have had the covers on the truck for about a week now, Seeings as they weren't notched for gaskets I used Permatex Super Blue instead. So far no problems, I also made sure not to over torque them.

OK bout a week after the last post I got - leaks, lol. I bought a set of gaskets, cut off the tabs a super blue'd them to the covers. Thai does work very well, lots more heat & cool down cycles since and no leaks.
