| Gentlemen, Actually, 1 question and 1 oversight that results in a desperate plea for a part.... Question: My 54 Merc came with power steering. It leaks badly. I have been told it was a simple bolt on option to the manual steering. Has any one here had experience with simply unbolting the rams and pump, placing them in the corner, and running the vehicle in the "Non Power" steering mode? Desperate plea: I am bolting up a 292 to replace the chronic smoker 256. As I'm installing the new water pump I realize I have no timing indicator (bolt on bit). The 256 bit won't work as the pump is different. Anyone have one? Top dollar paid Thanks, John
