Doug T was in our area for a while and he came by for a visit yesterday, nice guy, we talked for a little better than an hour. We all get to be friends on this site but it is nice to be able to meet in person and put a face with the text that you see on the screen.  I hope to make it to Columbus one day and see more of the people that make this site what it is.

God Bless.

Tim:

Now that Doug is from Kentucky, I'm surprised California allowed him in without a passport.  Sorry Doug, I had to throw that in now that my son has moved from Ky. to Pa.

Hey John

My Daughter used to live in Pennsylvania and she called it Pennsyltucky so your son should feel right at home.  BTW now she says "tell people you are from Louisville,  not Kentucky".

With regards to visiting Tim, this is the third time I have introduced myself over the net to another Y blocker and set up a visit.  Everyone (so far)  has been gracious and welcoming.  Tim runs an old style machine shop although he is not as old as we are John.  He is very knowledgable and is building engines of many kinds but mostly Fords and Triumphs.  He showed me some interesting stuff but he can tell about it.

While I was visiting Tim he called another well known Yblocker in the area and I visited his home and shop as well.  So John if you get an e mail from me and it is not about a Fordomatic I might be in your neighborhood!
