In the ANRA web page you can see a four picture sequence of the wheel stand under event photos for 4/9/11.  I was really impressed how you kept your foot in it till the wheels touched again.  That was gutzie!!!

Seppo,

I just received my copy of the Ford-Freaks Magazine and you did a great job on the layout of Tim's FED.  I liked your articles of the Battlebird #98 and L. W. Farrington's 56 T-Bird (I looked at the pictures).  I have done some of my own research on the speeds by the Battlebird and I was wondering if you came across any speed information for your article.  I saw some numbers, but I couldn't understand what they stood for.  Any information?

It's the original motor with a 4" bore and cracks between the cylinders.  I have the solid copper head gaskets that were made for it to isolate the water to the heads, they also have a thick coat of copper-seal on them.  Torqed them down tight, I've got nothing to loose.  If I still get water in the cylinders I will probably build a new short block with a more conventional bore and stroke, maybe 3.810" x 3.44".

A little tease here. This engine was ment for the Uni but since I will be staying in D class it will now go into the Dragster. The engine in Elwood will go into the A Tudor I'm building.
