I bought this engine for my '63 Ford F250, but I'm selling the truck and it has to go.

It is a 292 Y-block that has been freshly rebuilt by Tim McMaster (0 miles on it). It has flat cast pistons, double roller timing set, and ported ECZ-G heads with 2.02" in and 1.6" ex. It has full pressure oil 1.54:1 rockers, deep groove center journal, and H. D. push rods. The whole thing was balanced.

If you’re not familiar with his engines, check them out on his website (http://www.yblockguy.com) or on youtube (mctim64). He used to have this one on youtube, but I don’t know if he does anymore.

I also will include 8 quarts of Brad Penn 30w break-in oil and Comp break-in additive for it. Finally, it comes with gaskets and stainless hardware for the manifold, headers, etc.

Asking $2300 or make me an offer...I'm motivated to move this.

Buy it and you can plan a trip to Vegas to pick up the engine!

Do you have a shipping company that can quote a price to Ohio for me?

Do you have dizzy and carb and all the misc to make a complete engine?

I am uncomfortable buying a engine that has not run...but Tim has a great rep.

thanks

It doesn't have a distributor, intake or a carb with it. I was planning to use one of the MSD distributors and a blue thunder intake, but I never got to that stage. The pics pretty much show what comes with it.

Tim's been great....I'm bummed I have to let it go, but I don't have much of a choice.

I've never shipped an engine before, so I'd have to look into it. Tim sold it to me on a form-fitting pallet, so I'd just have to get it wrapped and banded. If you are serious about the engine, PM me and we can work it out.

This is not my sale so I'll let it be between you two but I've had good luck with R&L Carriers and I would figure they ship just about anywhere in the US for around $300+/- http://www.rlcarriers.com/

Also I'd like to add that anyone that may buy this engine feel free to call me with any questions.

God Bless.

Did you get my PM? I sent one, but it didn't appear in my Sent folder like they usually do. Anyway, 550 lbs (Class 85) to Columbus, OH with dropoff/pickup at the carrier's facility would be $362.36. Other things could be added, but that should give you a general idea on price to ship to OH.

I will give both Tim and R&L a thumbs up.  Tim built my engine and I used R&L for shipping to CA and back to IN.
