When I disassemble the motor, I neglected to pull the brushes off and tapped the shaft and pow! broke the cardboard/plastic mounts that hold the brushes. I am changing from 6 volt to 12 volt and was cleaning up the wiring which is why I was taking it apart. Has anyone got a good idea on where I can obtain these parts or ? The motor is still 6 volt and I was gonna use a reducer. Is there a 12 volt motor that will bolt right in? T-bird motor? Any help would be great. Thanks, Kevin

Later 12 volt will work.Just check rotation direction. Some are CC and some are CW although I am not sure it would make a dreat deal of difference for summer driving.Someone on this site likely has one off a parts car.
She's not a Vic or a Sunliner and she has 4 doors but she's my baby!
