Just wondering why all of a sudden I have to login just to read the articles in the Forum.

Usually I just clic on the Forum and it lets me in to read enerything, but the last two days I have to login and it will not save my login by checking the box. I know what's the big deal, but I still wanna know.

Maybe retirement is making my grouchy and short!

Same over [down] here, click "forums" on the home page and goes straight to the log in page. Yes, yes  we should log in every time, ["remember me" does'nt work] but there are times when you just want a quick 30 second revisit after being on another site.

This seems to be a problem with a lot of members. For some of us, this feature never worked. Others had no problem. It probably has to do with your ISP. Apparently Firefox is one of those that does not work.

There seems to be different problems for different users, different computers and different ISP connections.  For me, I like to login each time for PMs and being able to respond in the threads.  On the bottom of the login page, that box to click says "Remember Me?"  It also says "Automatically login on future visits".  I was hoping it had the ability to automatically remember my login each time I visited the site.  But, no, all it ment was when I bring up the site, it automatically takes me to the login page to sign in.

The thing that is constant for me is that it never asks me to login when I use a new or different computer unless I click in that box.  The point to this long story is, if the same thing is happening to you, when you clicked on that box it will forever take you to the login page when you first arrive at the site and I cannot reverse that command even if I wanted to (as you would probably like to do).
