Can someone help me identify these heads, there is none of the usual casting numbers near the exhaust port, just 'ECL" in the intake port. The only other numbers are stamped "64077" near the spark plug. They came off a Australian 61 F100 so probably Canadian origin but not shore. I have a couple of pair of "ECZ" and they don't have the "knob" at the plug hole

Hey Pete,  I haven't seen a set of heads like that before . ECG-S heads where pretty common in Australia .I will ring Jeff Cooper in Toowoomba( Qld ) tommorrow .He is a wizard on Y-block casting numbers.Hopefully he will have the answer for you .

Thanks Lon, have all the Mummert site numbers, just not having the usual casting number on the exhaust side had me wondering if I had something different, not rare or special, just different, with a higher comp. ratio than the ECZ's. The donor 61 F100 panel truck was an ambulance so don't know if the heads where the same as the everyday "effies". The local head machinest suggested and fitted the Windsor valves  1.85/1.6.

Mummert's Head listings as far as I know don't include Canadian castings, which I suspect they are.  Unfortunately, I don't know where you might get that info. Anybody know ?
