| | Hey Pete, I am looking at putting an auto in my 56 f100 which has the 3 speed box in it. I was going for the C4 from Mummert but maybe we could arrange something if you cannot use the adaptor you have. Regards Peter.

| Pete, don't know if you are aware that John Rod & Custom in Berwick, Melbourne ph 03 9797 2251 make bellhousings for the Y, an auto one to take a C4 and a manual blank one you drill to suit, but they don't have the mounting "ears" for the trucks. If you are going with side engine mounts/gearbox cross member it would be worth checking out but i'm trying to keep the original set up at this stage. The Mummert adaptor cost me $230 U.S.so I would be looking to get $250 Au for it.
